About our Services
When you come to worship with with us what can you expect? Well, you will find things that are familiar in most Scottish Episcopal Churches, such as candles, crucifixes etc.,. You will also find that the priest will be wearing coloured vestments which reflect the liturgical season. Our worship is simple and reverent without too much extra ceremony. During the Great Seasons of the church year, such as Advent and Lent, we also have additional services. We celebrate too, the Great Festivals and Saints' Days.

On Sundays we use the Scottish Liturgy 1982, which is a modern language service. On weekdays we use the 1970 Liturgy which has more traditional language (some  'thees' and ' thous'). Both services follow the same pattern of  prayers, scripture readings, Eucharistic prayer and communion.

It has long been the custom of the Scottish Episcopal Church to welcome communicant members of all Christian Churches who profess a belief in the Holy Trinity to receive Holy Communion at our altars
