The Mothers Union is our largest and most active church organisation. The Cumbernauld Branch celebrated 10 years of activity in 2008. The Mothers' Union was founded over a century ago and is one of the largest Christian voluntary organisations in the world. A particular focus of it's work is based on families at home and abroad. There are branches throughout the Anglican Communion. The Cumbernauld Branch meets at Holy Name usually on the first Wednesday each month. It is worth telling you that you neither need to be a woman or an Anglican to join. You can find out more by visiting the M.U. website* or you can email Joan McKechnie our Branch Leader. You can also visit the Mothers Union Glasgow & Galloway Diocesan website* (*takes you to an external site). |
